License Types

JimXchange offers different types of licenses to meet various needs: (see includes/excludes below)

  • Free License: A free license with no restrictions.
  • Single Project License: A license that allows use in a single project.
  • Standard License: A standard license for most use cases.
  • Attribution Free License: A license that allows use without attribution.

What Does a License Include?

When you purchase a license, you receive:

  • Access to the software product and all its features
  • All updates and bug fixes released during your license period

  • Discord support during business hours
  • The right to use the software according to your license type

License Duration

Most licenses are available on a permanent basis. Whereas some licenses may expire after a certain period (e.g., 6 months) and require renewal to continue receiving updates and support. Please check the specific license terms for details.

License Activation

After purchasing a license, you'll receive a license key. To activate your license:

  1. Log in to your account on JimXchange
  2. Navigate to your Licenses page
  3. Your license will be activated immediately
  4. You can then download the software and all available releases from there.

Using Your License

You can use your activated license across multiple devices and projects, depending on your license type. Each license includes a unique identifier that you may need to reference for support or documentation purposes.

License Restrictions

Licenses may not be:

  • Shared, resold, or transferred without permission
  • Used beyond the scope defined by your license type
  • Used for reverse engineering or attempting to circumvent licensing
  • Used without an active, valid license

Renewals and Upgrades

You can upgrade your license to a higher tier at any time. Upgrade costs are prorated based on your remaining subscription period. License renewals are typically offered at a discounted rate compared to new purchases.
